Role: Class 1 Fuel Tanker Driver
Location: Grangemouth
Salary: £18.54 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with some weekend working to meet the needs of the business
WHO WE ARE:
Oilfast are the fastest growing and now one of the largest fuel distributors in Scotland. In 13 years, we have grown to a level where we have 11 depots across the UK (mostly in Scotland). We have a large fleet of tankers and flatbeds delivering diesel, gas oil, home heating oil, lubricants, AdBlue®, gas bottles and fuel tanks out of those depots to a range of agricultural, commercial and domestic customers. We also sell fuel cards for drawing out our network of sites across the country.

ROLE SUMMARY:
We currently have a vacancy for a Class 1 tanker driver to join us on a full-time basis.
Our driving team work 1 week early shift and 1 week backshift on a rota basis, 40 hours contracted Monday to Friday with some weekend working to meet the needs of the business.
The Haulage team carry out a variety of different deliveries including Marine, Petrol Aviation and deliveries to our own depots throughout Scotland.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
1. Marine deliveries, petrol deliveries, aviation deliveries (training provided in these areas)
2. Deliver first class service, providing a friendly, professional approach to our customers.
3. Conscientious driving and fuel delivery to ensure health and safety is paramount.
4. Accurate completion of paperwork on deliveries and stock levels.
5. Completion of daily vehicle checks, reporting of defects and maintaining general maintenance as required.
6. To adhere to transport legislation and take work time and driving breaks in accordance to the rules in place.
7. General haulage administration as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Class 1 HGV Licence
2. Current ADR (minimum in tanks and packages)
3. Drivers CPC
4. Petroleum Passport preferable but not essential
5. Hard working
6. Conscientious and reliable driver
7. Must have 2 years HGV experience
8. Digital Tachograph
SALARY:
Hourly rate – £18.54 p/hour for first 40 hours
Overtime rate – £23.18 p/hour over 40 hours
Weekend rate – £27.81 p/hour
Potential to earn over £50,000 per annum
