This year, we’re letting you decide which cause we support
Through Fuelling Good, our depots have each nominated a local charity that matters to them, alongside two national charities we believe do vital work across the country. Rather than deciding ourselves, we’re inviting our customers to choose which of these charities receives our annual support.
All of the shortlisted charities are listed below, with a short introduction to who they are and the work they do. Take a look, learn more, and have your say.
Perthshire Abandoned Dogs Society (PADS)
Crieff depot nomination
Perthshire Abandoned Dogs Society (PADS) is a long-established local rescue charity caring for unwanted dogs across Perthshire. Based near Perth, they provide shelter, rehabilitation and help dogs find loving new homes.
PADS have asked that we include a mention of “Wiley wee Willow”, their longest resident. At 10 years old, she is still full of energy and can even jump 10 foot fences!
RNLI North Berwick
Grangemouth depot nomination
The RNLI saves lives at sea through the dedication of volunteer lifeboat crews and shore teams. The North Berwick station was nominated by the Grangemouth depot and is particularly close to the team’s hearts following the recent loss of a friend who volunteered with the charity.
Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA)
Forfar depot nomination
Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) supports disabled children and adults through riding, carriage driving and equine-assisted activities. Based close to our Forfar depot, the charity has been making a positive difference locally for many years.
Chris’s House
Motherwell depot nomination
Chris’s House offers a safe, non-medical crisis centre for people who are in, or approaching, suicidal crisis. Guests receive personalised support in a calm environment, guided by the charity’s simple but powerful message: “Let’s talk”.
The Holywood Trust
Dumfries depot nomination
The Holywood Trust supports young people aged 15 to 25 across Dumfries and Galloway by providing grants that create opportunities in education, culture, sport and community life. The Dumfries depot nominated the charity for its strong focus on supporting local young people.
F.A.I.R Oban and Lorns
Oban depot nomination
F.A.I.R (Fairness, Acceptance, Inclusion and Respect) works to create meaningful inclusion for children and young people with additional support needs. The charity focuses on helping children take part in activities independently, building confidence and genuine belonging within the community.
Friends of Insch Hospital and Community
Insch depot nomination
The Friends of Insch Hospital and Community is a local charity supporting patients and community projects in and around Insch. Since the hospital’s closure in 2020, the group has continued to campaign tirelessly for its reopening.

National charities
MND Scotland
MND Scotland supports people affected by motor neurone disease, their families and carers across Scotland. The charity provides practical and emotional support, funds research, and works to improve care and understanding of a condition that can change lives very quickly.
Marie Curie
Marie Curie provides care and support for people living with terminal illness and their families, both in hospices and in their own homes. From specialist nursing care to emotional and practical guidance, the charity supports people through some of the most challenging moments they will face.
