OilMaxx is proud to announce its sponsorship of Jamie Badhams for the 2026 FITD Racing season, backing one of Shropshire’s most determined and exciting motorcycle racers as he builds on a championship-winning year.
Jamie enjoyed a dominant 2025 campaign in the East Midlands Racing Association Championships, securing the title with an outstanding 14 wins from 16 races. His success was made even more remarkable by the fact that he began the season recovering from major surgery.
Following a training crash, Jamie underwent an operation that saw half of his collarbone replaced, along with significant ligament reconstruction. Still wearing a sling just days before the opening round, he made the decision to race — discovering that while he couldn’t lift his arm above his head, he could still control the bike.
That decision paid off in spectacular fashion.
“I wasn’t even sure I’d be racing at the start of the year,” Jamie said. “Winning the championship wasn’t something we expected, but once you’re on the bike the adrenaline takes over.”
Jamie competes as part of the family-run FITD Racing team alongside his father, Nigel. Although he has only been racing competitively for four years, motorsport has always been in his blood. The team continues to grow with clear ambitions for the future.
With OilMaxx now on board for the 2026 season. Jamie and FITD Racing are focused on defending their title and pushing performance even further.
