Oilfast Limited is delighted to announce the forthcoming launch of its first unmanned Retail fuel facility at Balbeggie near Perth. The site, which features the Oilfast logo and image, marks the company’s entry into the UK Roadside Retail market. The company plans to grow by attracting dealers and acquiring more unmanned locations. Introducing Oilfast, a new brand in UK Roadside Retail!
Managing Director Tony Stewart commented, “ As one of the UK’s largest distributors of fuel, lubricants, AdBlue and fuel cards, we have long seen entry to the retail market as a logical step, and today marks an important milestone in that journey. We believe in the fuels sector, and our customer service has marked our growth. We know we can offer dealers a much-needed fresh choice for supplying fuels and/or leasing or acquiring their forecourts. Not all forecourts have large shops or room to expand, and these locations are suited to our unmanned model. It’s not just current trading sites – we are also interested in converting ex-filling stations back to use. That’s what we have done with Balbeggie and with depots across Scotland, as well as Immingham, Kingsbury and London. We have a pipeline of prospects and are actively looking for more locations across the UK”
Strong Brand in Roadside Retail
Oilfast Balbeggie, located north of Perth on the A94 towards Coupar Angus, was formerly a Shell site that closed and became a car sales and servicing location without fuel. The building operates as a garage, now featuring new Tokheim Quantium ML pumps and an AdBlue tank in a self-contained cabinet. “We saw potential here, with the new Tay link bridge being built here north of Perth and with us having depots in Forfar and Crieff in this region. It’s a great advert for our business, and we have the expertise and model to sell retail fuel competitively. Customers can refuel or buy AdBlue with debit or credit cards, and we’ve added contactless payments for faster service,” says Tony. We wanted to offer full car valeting, so a new jet wash, vacuum, and air line are on-site.
The site officially opened on December 6th, and the company promises some interesting offers on that day and beyond.
