A Fresh Choice for Independent Forecourt Operators
Independent forecourt operators across England and Wales will soon have access to a new fuel brand.
OilMaxx, part of the Oilfast Group, was created to support dealers looking for a dependable fuel supply. Aimed particularly at independent and rural forecourts where operators value operational flexibility and strong supplier relationships. As one of the UK’s leading distributors of fuel, lubricants, AdBlue® and fuel cards. Oilfast has built its reputation on customer service and dependable supply. OilMaxx brings that same approach to the roadside retail sector.
Putting Dealers First
Many independent operators are looking for a fuel partner that focuses on supply, provides responsive service, and offers fair pricing. OilMaxx is designed to allow dealers to retain control, with no imposed retail programmes or store requirements. This straightforward approach is particularly attractive to operators who want a fuel supply partner without unnecessary complications.
Reliable Supply Backed by National Infrastructure
OilMaxx-branded locations will benefit from the extensive logistics network and industry expertise of the Oilfast Group.
Fuel supply will be supported through strategically located depots, ensuring dependable deliveries and responsive service across the network. Operating a flexible transport fleet capable of serving a wide range of forecourt formats, from high-volume sites to smaller rural locations.
This infrastructure enables OilMaxx to support dealers with the reliability and consistency they need in an increasingly competitive market.
Building on a Proven Retail Model
The launch of OilMaxx is built on practical retail experience via Oilfast’s growing network of unmanned forecourts in Scotland.
In late 2024, Oilfast entered the roadside retail sector by redeveloping its first uncrewed fuel station at Balbeggie, near Perth. The site transformed a former filling station that had ceased fuel sales into a modern 24-hour automated forecourt. Facilities includes fuel dispensers, AdBlue facilities, contactless payment technology, and vehicle care services, including a jet wash, vacuum, and airline.
Following the success of Balbeggie, Oilfast recently expanded its retail footprint with the opening of a second unmanned forecourt at Guildtown. The new site operates 24 hours a day and features fast-fill contactless pumps, super unleaded fuel, AdBlue at the pump, Allstar card acceptance and vehicle care facilities. The opening reflects growing customer demand for convenient, modern fuel retailing in locations where a traditional staffed forecourt may not be commercially viable.
These sites showcase Oilfast’s belief that not every successful forecourt requires a large convenience store. Instead, strategically located unmanned sites can offer motorists competitive fuel prices, modern payment technology and a convenient customer experience while maintaining lower operating costs. This experience is helping shape the OilMaxx proposition for independent dealers across England and Wales.
Opportunities for Existing and New Forecourts
OilMaxx is actively exploring opportunities with both existing forecourt operators and sites that may be suitable for redevelopment or reintroduction to fuel retailing.
Whether operators are seeking a new fuel supplier, considering a rebrand, or looking to maximise the value of their forecourt assets, OilMaxx offers a flexible, service-led alternative.
Looking Ahead
The UK forecourt market continues to evolve, creating opportunities for independent operators who value strong partnerships and reliable support.
OilMaxx is a compelling new option for forecourt operators across England and Wales.
